Goal
As an online shopper, I struggle to find specific products in large online stores due to a lack of efficient categorization. I also often encounter cumbersome and untrustworthy payment processes. I need an e-commerce platform where I can easily filter products by category and have a seamless, and secure checkout experience.
Process
I started the project by creating the Strapi database, ensuring it was populated with the relevant shop items. With the database in place, the focus shifted to building the front end. To achieve a seamless user experience, I incorporated Redux for state management and leveraged Material UI along with other essential packages for the UI design.
One of the features I'm most proud of is the product filtering section I crafted for the online store. Recognizing the potential overwhelm of sifting through a myriad of products, I focused on creating an intuitive filter by product category. This not only streamlines the browsing experience but also empowers users to effortlessly navigate to their desired items. It's more than just a functional feature; it's a commitment to enhancing user satisfaction and sales efficiency.
Recognizing the importance of a smooth and secure transaction experience, I ensured that every step of the checkout process is intuitive and user-centric. From selecting items to the final payment confirmation, users can trust in an efficient and secure transaction, thanks to the robust capabilities of Stripe.
